My name is Caroline Gurney and I'm a professional genealogist, researcher and speaker. I run an historical research service based in Chipping Sodbury in South Gloucestershire.

My Family History

I have been tracing my family history for 28 years. To see the results, follow the family links on the menu bar or look at the surnames page. My research interests are global, mainly in the UK but also in the USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and India. Full details can be found under places.

This website is a work in progress. I am busy copying material over from my old family history program, as and when work for my clients permits. I do have sources for all the information I have shared but they are not all online yet. There is also much information still waiting to be added. If you are interested in any of the people on this site, please contact me to learn more. Please be patient if I do not reply immediately. I receive many emails each week and often have a backlog to work through.
